The International Hospital Federation honors H.H. Sheikh Hamdan Bin Rashid 13 December 2013
H.H. Sheikh Hamdan Bin Rashid Al Maktoum Deputy Ruler of Dubai, UAE Minister of Finance and President of Dubai Health Authority received a certificate of appreciation from Dr. Eric de Roodenbeke, CEO of the International Hospital Federation (IHF), in recognition of his efforts in supporting the health sectors, the scientific research and the continuing medical education locally, regionally and internationally.
 
This came during the reception held by H.H. Sheikh Hamdan Bin Rashid at Zabeel Palace for the members of the International Hospital Federation and the participants of the “Future Health Leaders Program”, including 30 healthcare professionals from the UAE. 
 
The reception was attended by Eng. Eissa Al Maidoor, Director General of DHA, and Dr. Abdul Salam Al Madani, IHF Advisor in the Middle East Region.
 
It is worth to mention that the “Future Health Leaders Program” was launched by Dubai Health Authority in collaboration with the International Hospital Federation. The program which is held under the patronage of H.H. Sheikh Hamdan Bin Rashid spans over a period of nine months starting this December and ends in October 2014. Then, the program will be moved from Dubai to the member countries in the IHF. 
 
The program aims at raising the knowledge and skills of healthcare professionals to help them to improve the performance of their organizations.
