DUBAI, 26th November, 2017: Expressing his deep sympathy with families of the victims of the terrorist attack that targeted and killed hundreds of innocent Egyptians at the Al Rawdah Mosque in Bir Al Abed, North Sinai, H.H. Sheikh Hamdan bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Deputy Ruler of Dubai, UAE Minister of Finance, and patron of Al Maktoum Foundation and Hamdan Award for Medical Sciences, said that Islam is innocent of the perpetration of the terrible crime. He also wished Egypt to overcome the ordeal and to eradicate the roots of terrorism throughout the region.

H.H also expressed his deep sympathy for the the victims and their families, and instructed the Maktoum foundation to provide every possible support and assistance to alleviate their suffering.

In accordance with His Highness's directives, His Excellency Mirza Al Sayegh , Member of the Board of Trustees of Al Maktoum Charity Organization, communicated with Salah Al Din Al Jafrawi, the Foundation's Advisor in Egypt,   to prepare a food assistance convoy and send it to the village of Al Rawdah in Al Arish city, and to extend his condolences to the families of the victims and to visit the wounded and help them.
