Emergency Medicine Conference to kick off in Dubai this week 05 December 2017
Dubai, UAE - 05 December 2017:  Under the patronage of H.H. Sheikh Hamdan Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Deputy Ruler of Dubai, Minister of Finance and President of the Dubai Health Authority, the Emirates Society of Emergency Medicine Conference (ESEM17) will be held from 6th to 9th of December 2017 at the Intercontinental Dubai – Festival City, United Arab Emirates. The conference will be held with a support by Sheikh Hamdan bin Rashid Al Maktoum Award for Medical Sciences (SHAMS) and in collaboration with local health care organizations and several regional and international associations.
 
The ESEM17 conference will offer a comprehensive overview of the latest developments and innovations in Emergency Medicine which will provide attendees with access to equipment and training that are critical in making right decisions to provide better care.
 
His Excellency Abdullah Bin Souqat, the Executive Director of SHAMS said: “The support for ESEM17 comes in line with the directives of the patron of the award, H.H. Sheikh Hamdan bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Deputy Ruler of Dubai, UAE Minister of Finance, and the President of Dubai Health Authority. Supporting continuing medical education and community service programs are some of the top priorities for H.H. Sheikh Hamdan. These are apart from his initiatives in honouring medical excellence, and supporting scientific research through the Award’s Centre for Arab Genomic Studies, and the Hamdan Medical Journal”.
 
Dr Saleh Fares, President, Emirates Society of Emergency Medicine (ESEM) and Chair of Conference said: “Among the most-awaited sessions at the 4th edition of the conference is shaping the global Emergency Medicine strategy, long-term trauma outcomes, strategies to cope with financial burden on the society, the Fulcrum plenary and many more. ESEM17 is expecting over 1,500 participants from around the world and will feature hands-on workshops, plenary sessions, abstract presentations, corporate symposium, exhibition and breakfast with the experts. The main conference has been accredited with 22 CME and 29+ CME for workshops collectively. This conference is currently considered the largest Emergency Medicine Conference in the Middle East.”
 
The 4-day conference and workshops also offers attendees the opportunities to engage in a more structured lecture learning experience led by clinicians from various fields of emergency medicine. It will bring in together under one umbrella the emergency and primary care physicians, residents, emergency nurses, nurse practitioners, hospital administrators, EMT/Paramedics and many others from all over the country.
