Dubai-19 February 2018: The Sheikh Hamdan Bin Rashid Al Maktoum Award for Medical Sciences, is organizing the second conference of the Dubai International Academy of Dermatopathology and the Dubai International Academy of Laser & Aesthetic Dermatology, which will be will be held from the 1st to the 3rd of March, 2018.
The two conferences will include several scientific lectures and workshops, with the participation of a selection of senior dermatologists and beauticians from the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, Germany, Austria, Sweden, China, India, GCC, Egypt, Lebanon, and Jordan. The event will be held at the St. Regis Hotel Dubai, under the patronage of H.H Sheikh Hamdan bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Deputy Ruler of Dubai and Minister of Finance and President of the Dubai Health Authority, with the participation of more than 400 specialists from 25 countries around the world as well as the Dubai International Academy of Dermatopathology.
Dr. Fayza Al Ali, President of the conference said “The event brings together two important disciplines on one platform: skin diagnostic dermatology, which is a diagnostic challenge, and cosmetic dermatology, which is a therapeutic challenge". She added that the conference of dermatopathology will fill the gap caused by the absence of medical conferences specialized in this field. The conference on laser and dermatology is increasingly important for the increasing practice of this specialty in specialist doctors' clinics and beauty centers, in order to train specialists in the best use of modern technology in this field. Dr. Fayza Al Ali stressed that the conference will for the first time in the world showcase the latest scientific discoveries in the diagnosis and therapy of allergies by researchers and doctors from the United States of America.
On his part H.E Abdulla Bin Souqat, Executive Director of the Hamdan Bin Rashid Award for Medical Sciences, said, “The organization of these two events is a result of the Award’s commitment to supporting the enhancement of professional performance of the health and medical personnel in all disciplines and at all levels." He added, "In light of the rapid and successive research and technological developments in all medical specialties, especially in the field of dermatology, the importance of organizing such conferences to learn about the latest modern science in this field is greatly increased. It also reinforces the sincere national efforts exerted to promote the regional and global medical tourism sector in Dubai. Cosmetic medicine is one of the medical specialties set by the emirate to be the start for this ambitious project.”
