Winners of the Sheikh Hamdan Bin Rashid Al Maktoum Awards for Medical Sciences to be Announced on Monday

Dubai- 15 November 2018: Sheikh Hamdan Bin Rashid Al Maktoum Award for Medical Sciences will hold a press conference on Monday, 19th November 2018 to announce the winners of the 10th term of the Awards (2017/2018) at Roda Bustan Hotel in Dubai.
His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Deputy Ruler of Dubai and Minister of Finance, earlier approved the winners' names and directed all necessary actions to announce and honor them at the Award Ceremony, which will be held on December 12th at the Dubai World Trade Center.
H.E Abdullah Bin Suqat, CEO of the award, said that the winners have several achievements to their name that merit them to win the awards in the international, Arab World and UAE categories of the Awards.
He pointed out that the winners of the International Grand Hamdan Award and the Hamdan Award for Excellence in Medical Research, will be the keynote speakers at the 10th Dubai International Medical Conference to be held from December 13th to December 14th with the theme of musculoskeletal diseases.
He added, “The category of international Awards include the Grand Hamdan award, Hamdan Award for Medical Research Excellence and Hamdan Award for volunteers in medical and humanitarian services.”
“The Arab World Awards category includes Hamdan Award for Best College/Institute, the Award for the best Medical Center in the Arab World and the Hamdan Award for Outstanding Medical Personnel in the Arab World.”
“The UAE Awards include Hamdan Award for Best Medical Sector in the Government Sector, Hamdan Award for Outstanding Medical Personnel in the Medical Field and Hamdan Award for Best Research published in the Hamdan Medical Journal.”
