New Frontiers in post-reproductive health conference opens in Dubai. 08 December 2018
Dubai-8 December 2018: Under the patronage of Sheikh Hamdan bin Rashid Al Maktoum Award for Medical Sciences, and with the support of the Dubai Health Authority and the Emirates Medical Association’s Obstetrics and Gynaecology Society, in partnership with three international organizations: Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists in UK, International Menopause Society and the British Menopause Society, the conference on ’New Frontiers in post-reproductive health conference’’ was opened yesterday. The conference was opened by Dr. Amal Al-Qudra, Head of Obstetrics and Gynecology Department at Latifah Hospital and Cultural President of Emirates Medical Association (Obstetrics & Gynecology Society).
 
The conference involved the participation of more than 14 speakers from the leading consultants in the field of obstetrics and gynecology and one of the world's most prestigious universities to discuss the latest guidelines, medical and scientific developments in the treatment of gynecological disorders, in the presence of a group of healthcare professionals from the field of obstetrics and gynecology from around the world to discuss the latest research and global developments in this specialized medical field.
 
During the opening ceremony, Dr. Amal Al Qedra pointed out that the UAE and Dubai Health Authority are keen to host scientific meetings and conferences that provide a great opportunity for doctors and specialists working in this field to learn about international experiences and benefit them in serving patients in health institutions.

Dr.Nick Panay, Chair of the Scientific Programme Committee pointed out that for the first time in the Middle East, this joint meeting has been made possible through collaboration of the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists UK, The British Menopause Society and The International Menopause Society and is being hosted by International Business Consult, Medical Services.
