Dubai-5th March 2020: H.H. Sheikh Hamdan bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Deputy Ruler of Dubai and Minister of Finance, received Mr. Steffen Saltofte, Chief Executive Officer of Acino Swiss Pharmaceutical company yesterday at the Zabeel palace.
H.H and Mr Saltofte reviewed prospects for enhancing cooperation between Acino and the Sheikh Hamdan Bin Rashid Al Maktoum Award for Medical Sciences, and ways to expand support to help develop the health care service and to enrich research activities and training.
They also discussed the possibility of local manufacturing based within the UAE by 2020-2021.
For his part, Mr. Saltofte extended his thanks and gratitude to His Highness Sheikh Hamdan Bin Rashid Al Maktoum for all his support and motivation to the advance in the health sector and the field of scientific research.
