Sheikh Rashid bin Hamdan bin Rashid Al ‎Maktoum, Sheikh Saeed bin Hamdan bin Rashid Al Maktoum and Sheikh ‎Maktoum bin Hamdan bin Rashid Al Maktoum, received representatives of the ‎Sixth Middle East International Conference and Exhibition on Dermatology ‎and Aesthetic Medicine (MEIDAM) 2021 at the Zabeel Palace. MEIDAM was ‎represented by Dr. Khalid Al Nuaimi, President of the Conference, and Dr. ‎Saad Al-Sugair, Vice President of the Conference. 

During the meeting, Sheikh Rashid bin Hamdan bin Rashid Al Maktoum, ‎Sheikh Saeed bin Hamdan bin Rashid Al Maktoum and Sheikh Maktoum bin ‎Hamdan bin Rashid Al Maktoum received the Pioneer Award shield, presented ‎to the late Sheikh Hamdan bin Rashid Al Maktoum in recognition of his ‎contributions to the advancement of the health sector both within and outside ‎the country. 

The sheikhs expressed their pride in receiving the award in the name of their ‎father, Sheikh Hamdan bin Rashid Al Maktoum – may God rest his soul – and ‎thanked Dr. Khalid Al Nuaimi, Dr. Saad Al Sugair and all the organizers of the ‎conference.‎

Dr. Khalid Al Nuaimi praised the scientific and health initiatives of the late ‎Sheikh Hamdan bin Rashid Al Maktoum, which contributed to the ‎advancement of scientific research. 

The Pioneers Award, which has been presented by the MEIDAM conference ‎for six years in a row, is an appreciation from the conference for the role of the ‎generation of pioneers who actively and influentially contributed to ‎establishing the bases of scientific research in the region, and had the greatest ‎role in enriching the medical sector by transferring their expertise to the ‎following generations. The Award is presented in recognition of the role of ‎these pioneers and in recognition of their generous contributions to the health ‎care sector.‎
