The activities of the 4th edition of the Dubai International Academy of ‎Dermatopathology and Dubai International Academy of Laser & Aesthetic Dermatology ‎‎(DIAD-DIAL) were lunched today at Ritz Carlton- Dubai.‎

The conference  is being held under the patronage of the Sheikh Hamdan Bin Rashid Al ‎Maktoum Award for ‎Medical Sciences, from 10th to12th of Feb 2022.‎

During his speech H.E Mirza Al Sayegh, Member of the Board of Trustees said 'The Sheikh ‎Hamdan Bin Rashid Al Maktoum Award for Medical Sciences is proud to support and ‎sponsor this conference, especially as it is in line with the vision of the late Sheikh Hamdan ‎bin Rashid Al Maktoum, and with the Award’s tireless efforts to enhance the means of ‎continuing medical education locally, regionally and globally, in order to exchange ‎experiences with specialists and see the latest findings of scientists around the world, and ‎then upgrade the health services provided in the medical sector."‎

Dr. Fayza Al Ali, Chairman of DIAD DIAL, said, “The conference includes the latest scientific ‎findings in the field of dermatology and skin tissue pathology, and on the other hand, the ‎latest trends and methods of cosmetic medicine. The conference program on its first day ‎includes a number of scientific sessions, lectures and workshops in different halls, in parallel ‎with a group of valuable lectures by the world's brightest doctors in the field of dermatology. ‎

Dr. Derek Alston from the United States will begin the proceedings by reviewing the latest ‎scientific research published in the latest publications of the guide of the American Academy ‎of Dermatology.‎

‎ Prof. Dr. Victor Brito, President of the International Society of Dermatology, will talk about ‎the interactions of the skin with new biological treatments, and there will be a scientific ‎session on the advances in diagnosis of cutaneous lymphoma, presented by Dr. Maya ‎Hurley, President of the American Society of Dermatology. There will be a lecture on skin ‎biopsy important in pediatric dermatology, which will be given by Dr. Reem Al Bahtimi, who ‎is considered one of the pillars of dermatology in the UAE.‎

On the other hand, in the laser and cosmetic medicine halls, Dr. Taban Patel from the United ‎Kingdom will give a lecture to raise awareness of the side effects and risks of injections and ‎the signs that the doctor should pay attention to when injecting, Then the well-known plastic ‎surgeon, Dr. Nabil Fakih, will discuss how to avoid these effects, how to treat them, and the ‎tools that need to be provided in medical centers to avoid injection complications. Dr. Hano ‎from Germany will present a workshop on the latest plasma injection techniques.‎
