A delegation from the Sheikh Hamdan Bin Rashid Al Maktoum Award for Medical Sciences, ‎including His Excellency Mirza Al Sayegh, His Excellency Dr. Ahmed Al Hashemi, and His Excellency ‎Abdullah bin Sougat, participated in the meeting of the Board of Trustees of the Islamic ‎Organization for Medical Sciences.‎

 

The meeting was chaired by His Excellency Mohammed Al-Jarallah, President of the Islamic ‎Organization for Medical Sciences, in the presence of Members of the Organization's Board of ‎Trustees. The meeting discussed the organization's plan to expand its activities by strengthening ‎cooperation with regional and international associations and institutions in order to achieve the ‎organization's vision of becoming an Islamic reference in medical sciences. Focus was on the ‎organization's role in confronting deviant sexual behaviors from an Islamic point of view.‎

 

The meeting also discussed the themes of the 13th International Conference of the Islamic ‎Organization, that of sexually transmitted diseases, and their risks and prevention from an Islamic ‎perspective. The Conference was held under the patronage of His Highness the Crown Prince of ‎Kuwait Sheikh Meshaal Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah and organized by the Islamic Organization for Medical ‎Sciences.‎

 

The Council expressed its sincere thanks and gratitude to the State of Kuwait for its material and ‎moral support and adoption of all the organization's activities. The Council also thanked the Sheikh ‎Hamdan Bin Rashid Al Maktoum Award for Medical Sciences for sustainably supporting the ‎organization.‎

 

His Excellency Mirza Al Sayegh also conveyed the greetings and thanks of Sheikh Rashid bin ‎Hamdan bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Patron of the Award, to the Emir and people of the State of ‎Kuwait for their support for the Organization since its establishment. He also praised the ‎cooperation between the Award and the organization and the efforts made, wishing them ‎success.‎

 

It is worth mentioning that His Excellency Mirza Al-Sayegh and His Excellency Dr. Ahmed Al-‎Hashimi have been Members of the Board of Trustees of the Organization since 2016, and His ‎Excellency Abdullah Bin Souqat joined the Council this year.‎
