H.H. Sheikh Hamdan Bin Rashid supports the UAE Society of Engineers & Emirates Medical Association 14 May 2013
H.H. Sheikh Hamdan Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Deputy Ruler of Dubai, UAE Minister of Finance and Chairman of Dubai Health Authority opened the new headquarter of the UAE Society of Engineers and the Emirates Medical Association in Al Mamzar, Dubai, with the attendance of the directors of the local departments, doctors and engineers.
 
During the opening ceremony, H.E. Engineer Eissa Al Maidoor, Director-General of Dubai Health Authority and President of the UAE Society of Engineers, delivered a speech in which he praised the generous support by H.H. Sheikh Hamdan Bin Rashid to the associations, particularly their roles in enhancing the engineering and medical sectors in UAE through keeping up with the latest global developments in order to meet the requirements of the UAE development process in accordance with the best professional practices and ethics.
 
Also, H.E. Eissa Al Maidoor granted H.H. Sheikh Hamdan Bin Rashid Al Maktoum the honorary membership in the UAE Society of Engineers in recognition of his valuable efforts in the engineering sector within the UAE, particularly towards the UAE Society of Engineers, and presented him a commemorative gift on behalf of the society members.
 
On the other side, H.H. Sheikh Hamdan bin Rashid Al Maktoum honored the founders of the UAE Society of Engineers and the former heads of its boards of directors in recognition of their valuable contributions to the society. Also, H.H. Sheikh Hamdan honored the editors-in-chief of the local newspapers in recognition of their valuable efforts in covering the activities of the society. 
 
It is worthy to mention that the new building has been established at the expense of H.H. Sheikh Hamdan, at a cost of AED 27 million.
