Dubai-September 2017: Under the patronage of H.H Sheikh Hamdan Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Deputy Ruler of Dubai, Minister of Finance, President of Dubai Health Authority, the events of the Second Middle East Conference on Dermatology and Aesthetic Medicine shall be held in Dubai Intercontinental Festival City Hotel between 21-23 of current September. It is the first time that all associations meet whereby such a meeting would be an exceptional opportunity for Dermatology physicians and specialist from the region to gain and exchange experience with a large number of international physicians whose number is expected to be over 900 physicians and specialists from all over the world.

 

Dr. Khalid Al Nuaimi , president of the conference, said that this event is considered to be the largest of its type at the region level as it combines all dermatology and Aesthetic Medicine associations as well as the most understanding international aesthetic experts; particularly Dubai is considered to be a link between East and West for the development and enhancement of capabilities and potentials of those who are operating in this profession in various countries of the region . He pointed out that the participants of the conference look forward through this important medical event to come out with applicable recommendations and a clear agenda in the name of Dubai including practical tracks in order to achieve the best medical practices whether as regards dermatology or Aesthetic Medicine.

 

Dr. Khalid further pointed out that Dubai this year shall be the focal point of the international medical community particularly the conference attracts the leading and best speakers and includes a rich scientific program through which the most updated attained dermatology treatments, such as psoriasis, alopecia and leukoderma as well as the treatment of senility and eczema biological treatment in addition to LAESER and its modern utilization in leukoderma, eczema and nail fungi treatment. Moreover, the conference shall discuss the most updated achievements of Aesthetic Medicine in the Botox and Fillers operations particularly with the annual growth of this sector in the countries of the region at the rate of 10-15 in accordance with the latest statistics issued by the last International Conference of Dermatology & Aesthetic Medicine held in Paris.

 

DR. Khalid Al Nuaimi has explained that the work papers that will be discussed during the conference amount to 72 scientific papers which are in line with the particularities of Arab societies among hundreds of the papers already submitted to the scientific committee, in addition to 20 papers that will be discussed through the workshops that will be held one day prior to launching the conference activities. He has also pointed out that the number of the hours approved by Ministry of Health and community protection for the conference are considered to be a turning point of conferences as it amounted to 40.75 approved credit hours. 

 

The number of the international companies specialized in production of dermatology diseases systems and medicaments participating in the conference has amounted to 32 up to now, added Dr K. Al Nuaimi, pointing out that the conference shall be an arena through which companies shall compete to offer the most sophisticated products of medicine in the field of medicaments and systems related to Aesthetic Medicine the foremost of which come the LAESER, Botox and Fillers systems.
