The Sheikh Hamdan bin Rashid al Maktoum ‎Award for Medical Sciences participated in the strategic partners ‎forum held by the UAE University at Saadiyat Island in Abu Dhabi. The ‎forum was attended by more than 70 participants from 30 government ‎and private entities within UAE.‎

 

His Excellency Zaki Anwar Nusseibeh, Cultural Adviser to the President ‎of UAE and Supreme President of the UAE University, stressed that ‎the University will continue cooperating closely with its partners to ‎prepare generations of qualified graduates with high technical and ‎professional skills. The contributions of these professionals will lead ‎towards achieving the requirements of the country's national agenda, ‎leading to the UAE Centennial 2071, which expresses the truest ‎expression of our societal aspirations.‎

 

His Excellency pointed out that the UAE University, since its founding ‎by the late Sheikh Zayed, has been a beacon of academic knowledge, ‎and a national incubator with distinction, and has become a cultural ‎and intellectual center among universities, locally, regionally, and ‎globally.‎

 

Today, it continues its tireless work in achieving the vision of the State, ‎by offering academic programs and curricula specialized in keeping ‎pace with the fourth industrial revolution and the requirements of ‎artificial intelligence, and introducing innovative scientific programs ‎that keep pace with the latest scientific technologies, and working to ‎support qualitative scientific research efforts, innovations, and projects ‎in the field of space, which are among the most important, he added

 

At the end of his speech, His Excellency Zaki Nusseibeh extended his ‎thanks and appreciation to all strategic partners for their precious ‎trust in the University.‎

 

Abdullah Bin Souqat, Executive Director of the Award, said, "There is a ‎strong relationship between the UAE University and the Award since ‎its establishment in 1999, as it is considered the largest partner of the ‎Award in support of scientific research and is the largest producer of ‎scientific research in the medical sector in the country.‎
