H.H. Sheikh Hamdan bin Rashid al Maktoum opens the Gulfoof 2017 07 March 2017

H.H. Shaikh Hamdan Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Deputy Ruler of Dubai and the UAE Minister of Finance, inaugurated the 22nd edition of Gulfood 2017, a food and beverage commodity expo.  The 1,000,000 square foot exhibition runs for 5 days at Dubai World Trade Centre.
 
Around 90,000 food professionals and 5,000 exhibitors from 120 countries showcases their products and services as they eye a share of the multi-billion dollar MENA F&B market.
 
Eight individual food commodity trading markets have been created covering Beverages; Dairy; Fats & Oils; Health, Wellness & Free-From; Pulses, Grains & Cereals; Meat & Poultry; Power Brands and World Food.
 
Gulfood 2017 hosts the world’s biggest annual Halal food sourcing trade show-in-show in Halal World Food.
 
Also, the show hosts many activities such as the annual Emirates Culinary Guild International Salon Culinaire - the world's largest single-entry chefs' competition with the participation of more than 1,000 of the region's top professional chefs. The winners will be selected by an expert panel mandated by the World Association of Chefs Societies.
